Heavenly Father,
You have been faithful beyond measure. Even in times when I have been unfaithful, You have remained faithful because of who You are. I think of the needs that I had in the past, and how You have met me and carried me through today.
Thank You for how You have provided for me, Lord. Before I even say a word, I know that You hear me and know what my needs are. You say that I don’t have to worry about what to eat or what to drink or even what I will wear.
I confess, I often feel plagued by these concerns.
Please help me to fix my eyes on You and be reminded of Your faithfulness not only to those in scripture but to me.
Help me not to be fixated with my finances, allowing it to rule me. I know the world is consumed by these things, but You already know that I need them.
You know that I am in need.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for a new day.
Though each day comes with its struggles and needs, I am also reminded of Your mercies that are new each morning.
Thank You for the mercy that You show me each day. Even before a thought is on my mind, You already know it.
Today I want to bring my needs before You, and the needs of my family. It is not always easy to see how everything will work out, but I know that Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.
I pray for Your kind and generous hand to be over my home today. You are aware of my daily financial needs.

Lord,
You have called me to be a good steward of the gifts that You have given me.
I know it is hard to ask for more money, when I am not being a good steward of the little that I have.
I admit, there are times when I do handle my finances wisely, and other times when I don’t.
Right now I am really struggling with my finances and need a breakthrough.
I know that it is hard to see our own patterns and habits, and truly evaluate them to see whether they are good or not.
Please help me to discern any money habits or patterns that I have that are not healthy.
Help me to remember that all that I have is essentially Yours.
May I manage my money with this thought in mind.
Please help me to seek and find trusted and wise financial counselors, or educate myself more on finances.
Help me to become more disciplined in money matters and to honor You in the way that I manage a little and a lot of money.

A Prayer for A Job
Dear God,
Thank You for being there for me when I need You.
In all honesty, there isn’t a moment that I don’t need You.
But it can be easy to go about life forgetting this truth.
Please forgive me for the times when I have counted on myself, or others, instead of leaning on You first.
My trust can’t be in the economy or in companies because both of these things can and will fail.
Both of these things can and will change. But You Lord neither fail nor do You change. Please help me to place my trust in You.
I am truly in need of a job/new job.
Please bring opportunities across my path. Help me not to become discouraged but to put my faith into action by being diligent in applying to the opportunities that present themselves.
Teach me to be a dependable and hardworking person even before I get the job.
Help me to represent You as best as I can, even in interviews. If there is something specific I should apply for, or a different direction that You want me to go into, please make that clear to me.
While I wait, help me to trust in You to take care of me.

A Prayer for Peace
Lord,
My heart feels overwhelmed with anxiety today. My finances are lacking greatly, and I am having a hard time simply keeping my head up.
It is hard to let go of the constant worrying thoughts of where the money will come from and how I am going to make ends meet.
I know the more I think of it the more discouraged I will become.
The more anxious I become.
But You haven’t given me a spirit of fear. Your word says that You have given me a spirit of power, love and a sound mind.
Please help me to take my mind off of my finances for a moment. Help me to refocus my sights on You.
Let thoughts of You still my mind and bring peace to my anxious heart.
When I look at You, Lord, I see an absolutely sound and solid rock.
When I am leaning on You, no waves or wind can destroy me. As long as I am holding onto You, even in the midst of a storm, I know that my foundation will not give in on me.
Whenever I feel anxious about my finances, remind me to come to You in prayer, within thanksgiving, bringing both my needs and my praise before You.
